Thursday, 21 May 2026
About this event
Learn the art of soothing, creative Summer Calligraphy with Mellor & Rose at the National Museum of Ireland, Kildare Street, on Thursday, 21 May 2026 from 6pm – 8pm.
Using a fine brush pen—yours to keep—you’ll explore the fundamentals of modern calligraphy, including pressure strokes, rhythm, letterforms, and simple decorative illustrations. Guided by Mellor & Rose’s beautifully designed workbook and seasonal stationery, this gentle workshop offers a mindful, hands‑on creative experience.
All materials are provided. Part of the Museum’s Crafted Encounters series, this event invites you to slow down, learn a new skill, and enjoy a unique after‑hours creative session with expert calligraphers.
